Vocabulary
Similar: Figures that have the same shape, but not necessarily the same size.
Congruent: Figures that have the same shape and same size.
Corresponding parts: The parts of congruent figures that match or correspond.
Concept
Identify the corresponding congruent parts of a given congruence statement.
Rules
If two figures are congruent, their corresponding sides are congruent, and their corresponding angles are congruent.

A congruence statement says that two polygons are congruent.
To match the corresponding parts for a given congruence statement, match the corresponding vertices in the same order.
Example
Given ∆ABC ≅ ∆RKW and a list of some of their angles and sides, match the corresponding parts.
Solution
When given a congruence statement, we know that the order of the congruent statement will tell us which pieces of the triangles are congruent. If angle A comes first in the first triangle and angle R comes first in the second triangle, then angle A and angle R must be congruent. The same would be true for angle B and angle K as well as with angle C and angle W.
